We had parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday night for both kids.
Kaleigh's conference was first. We're going to be adding Adaptive PE to her preschool program. The PE teacher says she can work with Kaleigh to continue her physical therapy regimen. Kaleigh is getting more adventurous at school - trying more of the activities with her teachers and classmates. She is also becoming quite adept at using a cup without a lid. Babbling and walking are coming along as well. Kaleigh has taken as many as 6-8 steps at a time independently.
Donovan's conference was quite interesting. Mrs. Anderly showed us samples of Donovan's work - his artistic work is outstanding. He's also in the top reading group (he's reading books to us at home all the time now). He's at the top of the class in math and science as well. Donovan has been quite the charmer, saying the darnedest things at school. If he could only learn the ideas of personal space and keeping his hands to himself...
